ℹ️ Please note: Sham Market is a free classifieds platform. Basic listing posting is completely free of charge and therefore not subject to any refund policy. This policy applies only to paid promotional services and business packages.

1. Free Services

Posting classified ads on Sham Market is completely free. No payment is required to:

Create an account
Post listings for real estate, cars, jobs, services, or products
Browse and search listings
Contact other users

Since these services are free, no refund is applicable for them.

2. Paid Promotional Services

Sham Market offers optional paid services to boost visibility, including:

Featured / Top listing placement
Highlighted listings
Premium ad packages
Business account subscriptions
Category or city-level promotion

These services are activated immediately upon payment. Due to the instant digital nature of these services, refunds are generally not issued once a paid service has been activated.

3. When a Refund May Be Issued

A refund may be considered in the following cases:

You were charged twice for the same service (duplicate payment)
A technical error on our platform prevented the service from being delivered
The paid promotion was not activated within the agreed timeframe due to a platform error
You requested a refund within 24 hours of payment and the service has not yet been activated

4. When a Refund Will Not Be Issued

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

The paid service has already been activated and is running
Your listing was removed due to a violation of our Terms and Conditions
You changed your mind after the service was activated
Your account was suspended or banned due to policy violations
The request was made more than 24 hours after payment
Dissatisfaction with the number of responses to your listing (we cannot guarantee specific results)

5. Transactions Between Users

Sham Market is a classifieds platform — we connect buyers and sellers but are not involved in transactions between users.

⚠️ Important: If you paid a seller directly and did not receive the item or service, this is a dispute between you and the seller. Sham Market is not responsible for and cannot issue refunds for transactions between users. We strongly advise verifying all items and meeting in person before making any payment.

6. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund, please contact us within 24 hours of payment with the following information:

Your registered email address or phone number
The service you purchased
Date and amount of payment
Reason for the refund request
Proof of payment (screenshot or transaction ID)

We will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days.

7. Refund Processing

If your refund is approved, it will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, typically within 5–10 business days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Sham Market after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
